HDC opened the Mattoon office in 2004 and has made significant progress in the development community. Mr. George Warner, Principal of the Mattoon office, has over 17 years experience in engineering work and oversees an extremely versatile surveying, drafting, and design team. Mr. Warner is well known in the central Illinois region and has managed numerous high profile projects for municipalities, colleges, private industry and developers.
Some of the projects HDC is currently working on in the Mattoon, Charleston, Danville area are:
- University Village Housing, a 124 unit, 28 single family, 48 duplex development in Charleston, IL
- The Reserve at Forest Hills, Charleston, IL, is an upscale housing development of 20 lots in a wooded setting
- Lafayette Township, completed a civil design for a 13,176 sq. ft. maintenance facility
- Dunkin Donut/Baskin Robbins site engineering and survey in Danville, IL
- Pilson Auto Center in Mattoon, IL; designing an addition to the existing building
