Professional services included Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration.
The design challenge given to the Architectural Spectrum Design Team by Patterson Dental Company was to combine the operations of three older plants into one 150,000 SF facility. Business and sales operations totaling 53,000 SF on the second floor compliment the manufacturing/ printing operations (57,000 SF) and warehouse/ distribution (40,000 SF) on the ground level.
A steel and reinforced concrete frame was used for the structural support of exterior pre-cast concrete wall panels and low energy glass curtain walls. Architectural Spectrum led the Design-Build Team that helped the client achieve their timetable for beneficial occupancy as well as met their expectations for construction cost and functional quality.
